President and Chief Operating Officer

Lawrence Marcus is Derive Technologies’ President and Chief Operating Officer. He has served in this position since 2000.

Mr. Marcus has implemented systems, policies, and procedures that have streamlined Derive’s business processes and created high levels of efficiency. Among them, he has overseen the implementation of centralized accounting and billing systems to replace legacy technologies, which have made significant advances in controlling Derive’s expenditures, in streamlining the company’s customer quoting processes, and in significantly reducing the time windows for receivables.

Mr. Marcus’ implementation of the Microsoft® Dynamics® AX (formerly “Axapta”) accounting suite has also served as a model for the use, and implementation, of the solution for the productivity needs of Derive’s clients.

Previously, Mr. Marcus was Regional Director of Operations for MicroAge, Inc., a Fortune 500 company.
